Indicators scored
This section has five questions which are:

13. Fostering dialogue – allowing for feedback can instill more trust

    0 = other – neither comments nor trackbacks allowed
    1 = very bad – moderation takes time (not done over weekends) and  sometimes spam passes through and stays up for a few hours as a ligitimate comment (other cases spam is never removed)
    2 = average – trackbacks and comments reviewed and published generally within 24-hours also on weekends & public holidays (e.g., Easter)
    3 = very good –  besides point 2 above, reply to comment & reply to reply is also enabled to encourage a kind of dialogue
    9 = missing data – no reasons as no sufficient data found on blog or data not entered yet

14. Comment moderation – blogs that allow for disagreeing comments are more real and interesting and thoughtful feedback from author adds more depth to the discussion.

    0 = other
    1 = very bad – < 67% of cases author(s) reply to every comment
    2 = average –  usually author responds to several comments at once, or chooses to answer 1 among 2-5, or negative comments do not get responded to
    3 = very good – each thoughtful comment is responded to unless >30 thoughtful comments & those on topic but in direct disagreements are allowed/published AND responded to
    9 = missing data – no reasons as no sufficient data found on blog or data not entered yet

PS. content moderation under question 14 is based on the assumption that the average blog post gets fewer than 40 comments from readers. Thoughtful comments are generally longer than 40 words each to allow the commenter to add beef to the discussion.

15. Building relationship – having a steady rhythm of content to help in building a following

    0 = other
    1 = very bad – posts appear irregularly / e.g., whenever new release/product/special or manager has time = maybe PR office driven
    2 = average – postings appear in relative regular intervals, such as every 14 days
    3 = very good – regular weekly (or more) postings (e.g.,same day every week including public holiday periods such as during summer vacation) are the norm
    9 = missing data – no reasons as no sufficient data found on blog or data not entered yet

16) Ownership – Legal owner of blog is easy to determine

    0 = other
    1 = very bad – not clear who owns copyright
    2 = average – copyright owner is mentioned
    3 = very good – copyright owner mentioned as well as brand logo and/or company name features prominently
    9 = missing data – such reasons as no sufficient data found on blog or data not entered yet

17) Data protection – how data is being protected helps foster trust

    0 = other
    1 = very bad – user is referred to general privacy and use policy – social media including blog guidelines not given
    2 = average –  besides legal and compliance, some type of social media & blog guidelines available – often not easy to understand by average reader
    3 = very good – very good – legal and compliance, plus easy to understand social media guidelines (i.e. what to consider, user rights & responsbilities) – one click away top or bottom header, or right-side column
    9 = missing data – such reasons as no sufficient data found on blog or data not entered yet
